Why did the British destroy Nigeria?

When will Africa stop whining and take responsibility for bad choices. Our population in Nigerian is tremendously exploding, during independence, our population is less than 40 million and now it's 200 million and it is expected to reach 400 million in 40 years time,

There is currently no discussion on population control in Nigerian as constituencies are encouraging its people for population rise because of election. Asked any brainwashed Nigerian about the negative consequences of population explosion and their response will be that God will take care of them and feed them.

It is clear that Nigeria is sailing without a compass nor a GPS and doesn't care about the impact of policies. Everyday, endless prayers and resolutions are uttered out in millions of churches for God to perform magic and transform Nigeria into a paradise while having no policy blue print to achieve that and in the end, when we eventually fail, we'll look around and blame the British because it's pretty easy thing to do to escape taking responsibility for bad policies.

We Biafrans rose up to correct that mistake and take our responsibility into our own hands but the brits said no, according to Forsyth, the brits supplied the nigerians with so much ammunition, so much so that the njgerians expunged more bullets than the British army did IN THE WHOLE OF WW2. Yakubu Gowon reneged on the Aburi accord on british influence. So why won't we blame them? Even now that IPOB is agitating, the brits say they support nigeria, without calling everyone to a round table.
