Hey Guys,

Greeting to everyone and my deepest gratitude for your contributions.
i have a little problem and i hope i can get some answers.

i have a post graduate diploma (Originally enrolled for a masters degree but had issues). and i wast to know what educational level this belongs to when filing the Express entry profile.

Thanks.
P.S. i searched for it and didn't see answers in part 2 or 1.

That belongs to the category of 'two or more certificate'

No it wasn't. I hated the wait but the process wasn't as tedious. Started this time last year.

Ok, thats good. So as others have already responded, it falls into the two or more certificates option. Hope this helps.

Just don’t try this CFA Charter.

On a more serious note, it’s better to err on the safe side. I’d also use a discounted value.

happytbaby:
Funny enough I cannot see where to quote GlitteringStar for some weird reason so ayam quoting both of you.

I am not saying CIC will ultimately disqualify it, I am talking about the technicality of what a TB is worth at a point in it's life. I am okay with points 2 and 3.

If you decide to sell a TB prior to maturity you will sell it at a discount to face value however it should be higher than how much you paid for it initially (provided that interest rates have not moved up and your value gone down), this is a reasonable assumption since you would have expected to have earned some interest during the period you had the TB (holding period return). If you want to sell it today you cannot sell at face value.. ..it naturally follows that no one will buy it for the same amount that it will be redeemed in the future.

CIC aside, l was coming from the logical stand point of "I do not have that face value as at this moment and would not compare the exchange rates of today with a value of tomorrow, I will compare like with like" but this is me, it does not have to be what Guitarlife or any other person would do, I always prefer to be as safe as possible.

To answer Newmum, If I have 2 discounted instruments and they both have a tenor of 1 year but one has 2months to expiration, I will be more comfortable to use Face Value for the one expiring in two months time, I have already earned 10 months of interest .

For things like this, I guess CIC will most likely just let it slide because writing a rejection letter on the basis of POF saying that the DV is less than POF whilst FV is sufficient will be too 'one-kind'.
