Job Title: Implementation Consultant

Job Purpose
The Implementation Consultant will be part of a team of professional Consultants tasked with evaluation of client’s business process; Implementation and configuring of software solutions; and Identifying challenges affecting client configuration and software implementation from working effectively and proffering solutions to these needs.
The Implementation Consultant (IC) would be required to have logical and analytical skills to derive insights and solve Implementation problems.
Experience
• At least two (3) years of working experience as an Implementation consultant on any of the ERP products particularly Sage.
• Knowledge of Sage Pastel, Sage Evolution ERP/200 or Sage 300, Sage VIP Premier, or VIP Payroll will also be an added advantage.
• A professional qualification, ACA or ACCA is desired
• Knowledge of Accounting and MSQL will be required


Job Description
• Review clients’ Masterfile and make recommendations towards attaining laid down requirements.
• Specifying and determining with the client the scope of work for delivery
• Support and work with clients through their processes for a successful implementation
• Implementing ERP and other solutions according to existing protocol.
• Identifying sources of challenges and proffer prompt solutions to those challenges in line with Support Level Agreements stated by clients


Skills and Abilities
• Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
• Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets.
• Must be skilled in use of MS Word and must be a very good writer to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department.
• Must have very good verbal skills.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work extra hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of Implementation of Sage Software solutions is required.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance and other related disciplines

Age
Should not be more than 30 years.

Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide proofs of certifications where available otherwise write certification examinations towards becoming an accredited support consultant.

The primary function of this sales position focuses on acquiring NEW customers for Sage range of products. The secondary objective will be to manage the sale of the rest of the Sage products including upgrades with the aim of establishing whether customers are using the correct solution software for their business and selling appropriate Sage Product.

• Suitable candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of Sage Software or a mid-tier ERP, Accounting, Payroll and HR Solution.
• Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
• A background in marketing will be an added advantage
