I ended up with Distinction in accounting in Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana in 2001. In 2015, I finished with a First class in Accounting in Anambra state University.

I can tell you categorically that obtaining Distinction or First class sets you apart.

Forget people that try discouraging you. Try and get the first grade and the sky will be your limit in the corporate world.

2001 bros. I qualified as a chartered accountant in 2008. Started by Bsc programme on part time from 2012 to 2015.

Wrote ACCA-DIP(IFR) just yesterday. Hopefully, will start my MSC(finance) in Unilag next year.

If I don't get Unilag admission, which is most unlikely, I will either pursue CIMA(UK) or MBA in Ahmadu Bello University.

It should have been a thread for graduates. I see no reason why you should indicate class, it shows how biased the op is. I finished with a very strong second class upper but believe you me, if i had finished with a 1st class, i would still condemn this act. why the segregation? . what problem are you trying to solve? The problem of Nigeria is Nigerians themselves starting from the OP..I rest my case
Dts y i prefer very good 2:1 students to most first class. They re sociable, smart, intelligent n easily mix up with others.
