WHAT IS GOOGLE GO?
Google Go is a data-friendly search app from Google that requires less data than the regular Google app. With this app, you can search Google. The main purpose of this app is for those residing in areas with poor data connection and those with low-end phones to have better experience. You can save pages offline, get notifications when search results are ready, and load "lite" versions of pages.
ANDROID OREO GO EDITION
Google also announced latest version of Android Oreo called Android Go. It is built exclusively for entry level smartphones with ram size of 512MB or 1GB ram.
This will give some low-end phone users the opportunity to experience some features of Android 8 Oreo. The update will be arriving as Android 8.1 and comes with three main features - the operating system, Google apps and the Play Store. These features are now optimized to run smoothly on low RAM phones hence reducing the chances of phone freezing or hanging.
According to Google, the new Android Go edition has been optimized in such a way that average app is 15% faster on the new OS, pre-installed apps take 50% less space and it absolutely take care of background apps exhausting your data as it auto turn on data saver by default.
Also note that Android Go edition (Oreo) will be coming with nine apps preinstalled. These apps are super lightweight and they include Google Go, Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go, Gboard, Google Play, Chrome, and Files Go.
In terms of web browsing, the google Chrome browser has been optimized to run through a Google server that reduces file sizes before it gets delivered to your phone.
But don't misunderstand Android Go for Android One. They are different but their main purposes is to optimize google apps and services in low-end phones.

Can they be uninstalled and the original ones installed? or like can i download the original app if i dont want to use the GO app?
