Abraham, the patriarch, was the first according to scriptures to pay tithe. Now if the tithe was instituted before the law came then it stands that the principle of tithing remains even after the law is abolished.

And I don't see where I separated those two scriptures, as a matter of fact they strongly corroborate each other.

If U are of the belief that abraham paid "tithes",then there must be a laid down law that he was obeying
Remember there was a "commandment" by God to abraham to carry out burnt offerings
There was a "commandment" by God to abraham and his family to be circumcised.....
But there was no commandment from God to Abraham to tithe when he met king melchizedek after rescuing his cousin lot from the hands of the kings!
Remember that there are so many things Abraham did which were good and bad!
