Do you think a more homogenous country would fair better outright, or do you think that the Nomadic lifestyle isn't compatible with the competitive nature of the world economy?

In my mind, it could either be like Somalia or Dubai...

There is no doubt about it. Their economy will be same as their poor neighbouring countries such as Mali, Niger Republic and Chad.
