Things You Can Do If You Don't Gain Admission by hennyholla17(m): 1:15am On Dec 12, 2017
Gaining admission in Nigeria has been a very daunting task both for students and the parents. Many students read their ass out day and night only to get disappointed by some universities. Reasons for this might be wrong choice of school, competitive courses etc but either way, people who will gain admission will always gain admission and people who will be left behind, will always be left behind. This is not because some are not smart or intelligent, some people are just lucky while some other students are rich (they bribe their way in). So I took my time yo analyse some things about teenagers and I figured out that most want to gain admission regardless of their level of intelligence or financial stability. Here are the things you can do if you don't gain admission instead of waiting at home:
1. Teaching: This is obviously for the unlucky but intelligent students. Some students might not have gained admission because of how competitive their course is or because of the high rate of bribe the school received. Some don't gain admission because of their subject combination, hence they end up regretting. If you belong to this class of students, then teaching is the way for you to keep yourself busy, gain knowledge and earn some income. Many private schools are looking for teachers to teach the younger ones; especially those in nurseries and kindergartens. This doesn't require much skill but cleverness and your ability to connect with your inner child. As a teenager, you should have no problem with either of these two things, considering we all have access to the internet and we still sometimes play like we were still in our childhood. Teaching is your way.
2. Blogging: Just like me, you can become a blogger and start earning knowledge and money. Blogging requires doing a lot of research online and reading lots of articles. With the knowledge (positive) you acquire online, you can insert it into your academics and broaden your knowledge for the next JAMB exam ahead of you. Apart from gaining knowledge, blogging also brings money. Things can easily succeed in blogging since it's a way of expressing one's thoughts and sharing it to the world. All you have to do is be real and original. It takes practice and time but at the end of the day, it will all be worth it. Blogging also involves hardwork that's why many teenagers don't venture into it but did you know you can also blog without working hard but smart? This is mainly for people with gossip and entertainment blogs. They keep up to date with the latest news on the web and post them in their own words on the internet. Since most teens love following celebrities and their lives, they can also create an entertainment blog. Mind you, there are millions of blogs on earth but you can always find your way by doing some research and smart work.
