Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode and the Federal Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, were both present at the formal handing-over of the Presidential Lodge in Marina, Lagos.

The concluding part of the process for the formal handing-over of the Presidential Lodge, Marina was done today. The lodge will be transformed along with the old Lagos House, Marina to the Lagos History Centre, as it is one of the landmarks of the City of Lagos.

On behalf of the government and people of Lagos State, I wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for this kind action. I can assure that the edifice will become a tourist destination which Nigerians would be proud of.
