Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather says cage-fighting promotion UFC has made him a huge offer to return to combat sports. In a live Periscope video the 15-time world boxing champion told fans that he could "come back" to UFC, fight "in the Octagon," and "do a three or four-fight deal and make $1 billion (£745 million).

He said: "They just called me not too long ago and asked me to come back. I can come right back. If I want to, I can come right back to the UFC.

"I can go fight in the Octagon – I can go and do a three or four-fight deal in the Octagon and make $1 billion."
