Kudos to the agile and vigilant boundary closure monitoring task force comprising Anambra state political appointees and security agencies. They intercepted this vehicle in the early hours of Saturday, 9th of May, 2020 at Onitsha Bridgehead carrying some passengers disguised as members of the press. This is in violation of the Federal government of Nigeria 8pm to 6am curfew, and the state government’s boundary closure order.

It was a mixed feeling today as the Bishop on the Niger - Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Dr Owen Nwokolo reached out to five thousand families with #30million worth of food items in the Diocese who are experiencing hardship as a result of the total lockdown order by both Federal and State Governments.

Bishop Nwokolo who unveiled this earlier today in the Bishopscourt, reiterated that the lockdown order has impacted negatively on most families.

He charged churches and well-to-do individuals to extent kind gesture to vulnerable families around them.

Speaking shortly after the presentation, the most senior Archdeacon in the Diocese On The Niger Ven Obi Ubaka, the Archdeacon of Onitsha Main Archdeaconry thanked the Bishop On The Niger for the kind gesture, pledging that the Priests would ensure that the targeted families are reached. He prayed God Almighty to bless the Diocese On The Niger.

THE CITY OF AWKA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vudsYr_VhXg

This inter vlog guy is very annoying and fraudulent. He does not understand that plagiarism is a crime.

He lives in Vietnam and goes around using google earth street view that is currently available for the expressway in Onitsha and Awka, as well as inner streets of Enugu. Sometimes he uses other people's videos without giving them any credit at all! Then he pretends he took the video by saying, I will now show you this or that. Many times, he gets the names of the places wrong!

Since many people are currently struggling to produce legitimate content to monetize their youtube channel, I find using parts of other people's videos and google earth to make videos as very very fraudulent behavior. His next move now will be to take Eboh media's new drone video of Awka and then add a few google earth streetview shots, and try to make it his own video! Without giving any credit at all to Eboh media! Always trying to benefit out of other people's effort by cheating them!

For instance, he posts a google earth streetview picture of UNIZIK main gate which is more than 2 years outdated, and says in his video that he just took the pictures yesterday while at UNIZIK in Awka. However, you can see clearly from another video of an Awka based youtuber that the gate has since been upgraded for more than one year now.

Brick is durable and beautiful. Using it to fence the rear of the AMC is a welcome development and also giving the entire area a mix of Euro-American outlook, because they use alot of bricks over there in Western world.

I am truly impressed with the strategic approach of Anambra State Government towards the growth and development of the State. Encouraging indigenous industrialists to build factories across the state thus leveraging on the retail trading culture of our people. Inviting and assisting private property developers to build modern upscale residential estates in major cities in the state particularly Awka. Building an airport with the capacity to receive wide bodied cargo planes. I guess the government is taking necessary steps to secure the approval of the Federal Government for the airport to be gazetted for international cargo flights. God bless the government and people of Anambra State.
