Silly Fulani goons on Nairaland.

The problem with people like you that think like Putin is that you believe that once you lie as many times as possible, people will believe you because they are stupid. Not knowing you are the stupid one repeating the same ridiculous things over and again and expecting a different result from people.

Wetin concern Putin with issues in anambra state. The end point of the game is simple give us breathing space and not promoting violence and wickedness you can't promote in Delta state.

Stop hovering here with your fake love. Ndigbo knows what is right and evil at hand not a stranger like you.

Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe Visits Awka Millenium City Project Site, Says Governor Obiano Is Finishing Strong.

By Joseph Egbeocha (ABS News)

The traditional ruler of Onitsha, and Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, Obi Of Onitsha (Agbogidi) today, Friday, 25th February, 2022, toured Awka Millennium City, the new smart city coming to Awka.

Speaking during the visit, Igwe Achebe said that Governor Willie Obiano is finishing strong, and added that expectations are justifiably high on the incoming administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

During the visit, Igwe Achebe was taken round prototype buildings, central park, water treatment plant, nursery and other sections of the city by the Project Manager, Engr. Obinna Nnoruo, alongside other members of staff.

Speaking to the ABS after touring the site, Igwe Achebe, who is also the Chairman of Advisory Board for the project, expressed delight over what he called 21st century project being expertly executed by locals.

He noted that Anambra never had it this good until democratic governments came on board, calling on Ndi Anambra and residents of the State to extend their support to the incoming Soludo adminstration to enable him sustain the tempo of development.

While commending Ndi Anambra for heeding the "aku luo uno" call, Igwe Achebe said it is high time Ndi Igbo brought home their investments for rapid development of Igbo land.

In his remark, the Project Manager, Engr. Nnoruo, who expressed happiness with Igwe Achebe's regular visit to the project site, assured that the sponsor, MP Infrastructure, will ensure that the city is liveable from next year, urging intending developers to come forth as some people have started constructing in the city.

Ten wealthiest Igbo, by Inter-Vlog.

Most of them are from Anambra with Prince Arthur Eze leading the pack with $5.8 billion and COSCHARIS bringing up the rear with $800 million. Though the list could be said to have some truth in it, i always take any ranking that has no official source with a pinch of salt. They left out the esteemed likes of Dr Orjiakor, NESTOIL, Uju Ifejika and Emeka Okwuosa of Oilserv, while including the likes of Rochas and Ifeanyi Uba who they claimed own at least a billion each.

When Abubakar malami (AGF) said that Anambra state need state of emergency. He was right because the state governor has failed in security.

But clueless obiano used it to play politcs. Now to protect lives and properties, Obiano can't.

What about those touts and thugs in onitsha that are collecting and exploiting our people and they are all working for Anambra state government.

I don't know the pact gov obiano sign with criminals, hoodlums, touts and thugs terrorizing Anambra state.

His silence is suspicious. Insecurity in Anambra is almost on the peak. Imo state has has combat the insecurity on it's states and it has been reduced to Minimum.

Anambra wake up! South East wake up! Wake up and defend yourself land.

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE GENESIS CITY, AMANSEA, AWKA CAPITAL TERRITORY, BY CADLANDS REAL ESTATE.

Today, I alongside Hon. Bonaventure Enemali, Honorable Commissioner For Land, His Lordship Most Rev. Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor and others, celebrated with Mr. Chimezie Okeke of Cadlands Real Estate during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Genesis City, Amansea, Awka Capital Territory.

Safe, sustainable and affordable housing is a basic necessity for every family. Without a decent place to live, people cannot be productive members of society, children cannot learn and families cannot thrive.

With rents on the rise and increasing scarcity of sustainable and affordable housing stock for home ownership, many low- and moderate-income households are facing hard choices between continuing to pay high rents in ill equipped rental rooms and flats or being forced to move out of the communities where their jobs are to find affordable accommodations elsewhere. This issue affects us all – after all, how can we be a thriving State if the diverse range of workers it takes to build, maintain and grow our quality of life cannot find sustainable and affordable homes that they can call theirs so the can live in the neighborhood their where they make their livelihoods?

Having a decent, safe, sustainable and stable home is essential for community residents of all ages and abilities to achieve their full potential and for Anambra State to ensure a bright future for Ndi-Anambra with thriving communities.

The visionary young estate developer, Mr. Chimezie Okeke and his Cadlands Estate company have joined the growing number of well-meaning Ndi-Anambra who have so far answered Governor Obiano’s clarion call for private sector involvement in the development of housing for the benefit of Ndi-Anambra under the Akuluouno initiative.

Arc. Michael M. Okonkwo
Honorable Commissioner for Housing

Glad that he is expanding to more locations in Anambra, southeast and southsouth. When they have a presence in their zone, they can explore moving to other zones where they will likely be seen as a threat. But at least they would have enough presence elsewhere to mitigate the risk of arson.

Number 1 on the list is definitely NOT the richest Igboman by any yardstick. Perhaps he was in the 1980s, but he is not even among the top 10 richest Igbos today. Even by the yardstick of owning an oil well or a comatose oil company, there are others who own functional oil & gas companies today.

Soludo Goes To Inauguration With Ogbunike, Anambra -Made Shoes

By Joe Anatune

These days, technology has increased the proliferaton of brands in various categories and in the process, making it possible for new market entrants to compete at national and global levels as they can replicate global quality with some guidance. Functional attributes are therefore narrowing.

The result of the foregoing is that the factory is no longer where the battle for market share is crystallised. The perceptual minds of consumers are the new war zones for market dominance and share. Positioning, perception management, association and imagery have become veritable tools in the battle for the minds of the consumers whose taste orientations and purchasing habits are becoming increasingly global and borderless.

So it becomes imperative to protect one's local markets by winning the minds of consumers. This is the conceptual framework of Cee Cee Soludo's Buy and Use Made-in-Anambra product model. Wherever he goes, he sets the example by wearing the beautiful, stylist, comfortable and durable shoes made in Ogbunike in Oyi Local Government, Anambra State, South East Nigeria. Definitely, he will go to his inauguration on March 17, 2022 with the made-in-Ogbunike shoes. Oh yes, you can take that statement to the bank.

Soludo is igniting the battle for the Ogbunike shoemakers in order to carve a good slice of the global footwear market currently put at 565.5 Billion US dollars. This is not a pie in the sky. Admittedly, the market is dominated by Italian, Japanese, Spainard and American shoemakers, but current global trend for customization has created openings for our Ogbunike shoemakers for market penetration, especially with Soludo leading the battle for the minds of consumers. Obviously, this is not the whole story. Now, let us give you the reason to believe and buy the OGBUNIKE-made shoes for formal or casual uses just like Soludo is doing, with his identification spiking demand.

Clem Chukwuka is the Managing Director of Anambra State Small Business Agency that oversees the state-of-the-art facilities for shoemaking in Ogbunike. Clem comes across as a transformational leader always on the prowl for openings for his products. He says that his machines are the same like the ones Italian shoemakers use. He confirms that his people have been exposed to global best practices in the industry. Clem is proud that his people make "damn good shoes" fit for the consumers who now see shoes beyond their protective functions but as expressions of personal identity. Going forward, Clem and his people need to fiercely and boldly build many winning brands from their Ogbunike shoe wonders which for now are excellent commodities.

And with Soludo as an informal Chief Marketing Officer by useage, the Ogbunike, Anambra-made shoes could define the reputation of Anambra as a place where quality shoes come from. The market is huge and projected globally to grow at 24% in the next five years. The rub- offs of this on other Anambra product offerings can only be imagined. A trial, as they say, will convince you.

Be of good cheer!!

Nnewi Catholic Diocese Takes Over Construction Of Cathedral From Senator Ifeanyi Ubah

The Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Jonas Benson Okoye has appealed to Catholic faithfuls across the Diocese to join hands towards the completion of Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Nnewi.

The Cathedral which is being single-handedly built by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah after he demolished the former cathedral collectively built by the Diocese. It has been under construction in the last 12 years.

Anaedoonline.ng reliably gathered that Ifeanyi Ubah, who is currently representing Anambra South Senatorial District, was invited to a meeting by the Bishop, where he was told that the Diocese has decided to take over the construction of Cathedral to ensure it’s speedy completion.

Our correspondent learnt that the new Bishop of Nnewi Diocese who is determined to ensure that the Cathedral is completed under one (1) year, is planning to set up a building committee that will continue from where Senator Ifeanyi Ubah stopped.

It will be recalled that in 2013, Ifeanyi Ubah demolished the Catholic cathedral of Nnewi Diocese with a promise to rebuild it under a year.

In 2015, in a nationwide sponsored interview with members of Nigerian Union of Journalists, he assured Nnewi Catholic community that the church project would be completed by November 2015, but yet again failed. In 2019, seem promise was made but unfortunately was not fulfilled.

On August 26th, 2020, and also on March 2021, in the presence of Catholic bishops, he assured Nnewi Catholic Diocese that the Cathedral will be commissioned during his Golden Jubilee celebration on 3rd September, 2021, but that also failed.

The non-completion of the Cathedral has continued to be a major setback to Nnewi Catholic Diocese, as the Diocese who have been without a central place to host Diocesan events in the last 12 years.
