@AMILOADED

Labour unions in Osun State on Friday declared a total strike to press, demand for payment of their full salaries.

Amiloaded gathered that the Labour leaders asked their members to embark on indefinite strike immediately after Christmas holiday.

They said the strike would begin on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

The labour’s decision came on the heels of their claim that the state government has refused to accede to their demands despite the 21days altimatum by the labour unions.

The state chairman of the Nigerian Labour congress, NLC, Comrade Jacob Adekomi declared the indefinite strike at a press conference of the organised labour unions of Osun state.

Comrade Adekomi maintained that the government has no reason to further pay modulated salaries to categories of workers just as the union will no longer accept the embargo place on promotion of workers since 2012.

He noted that efforts are in top gear to ensure that the industrial action is effective.

This country has been messed up big time by both the previous and present administrations and of course, Ogbeni Aregbesola's second term has been a total disaster. I also learnt he's dreaming of a senete seat in Lagos State.. How could that be possible? Well, only in my dear country...

Where is Lootimi Amaechi?? He should quickly come and bail out Aregbese his friend like he did when Aregbese was going for second term!

Who will Aregbese blame for this now? Is he still receiving zero allocation from FG like he claimed to receive under the past admin?

Common salaries which are entitlements of the labourers they can't receive as and when due.

The few who can pay sing about it as a great achievement in office!

In Plateau state, Lalong has been nicknamed "the alert governor" because he boasts about paying salaries promptly as if it was a privilege to the workers while nothing else goes on in his state.

For how long OH God! What does the future hold for the masses with these crop of leaders we have today?

I feel for these dehumanized workers as it may be double calamity for them because I heard that the FG wants to float Osun state on the stock exchange in order to recover their debt. Where is that Osucoward to defend Aregbesola when you need him?

This Administration? Really? Were you just born yesterday? This is just Nigeria's history repeating itself. Nigerians don't care about their history and are doomed to continue to repeat it. The same people complaining about their government and representatives will be the same ones queing up to vote for them in the next election. What a people. Smh.

"Striking" will not do JACK! Futile futility is what I call it. If the workers want to drive their point home,then they have to be a lot more FORCEFUL.
