Tourism 1. Falgore Game Reserve 2. Audu Bako Zoological Garden Nigeria's No 1 Zoo and Second in Africa " I am surprised to hear from a lot of people, including those who call themselves elites criticizing my idea of establishing a zoo or game reserve and not only that but also making it an item of mockery. I am openly condemning such people as people without foresight and wisdom. I am glad to say that there are not many of them in Nigeria for otherwise, general progress would have been slow. " “ In the name of God, I declare the Kano Zoological Garden open for the general public of Nigeria and anybody from outside the country, and I pray that it will serve mankind forever. To the people of Kano State, I hand to you this zoo as an object of pride. Please hold it as an egg. May God help us. Thank you. ”-- His Excellence Late. Alhaji Audu Bako RahimahulLAH FIRST ANIMAL DONATIONS Before the establishment of the zoo, Audu Bako and his wife rear triplet lions at home, namely: 1. Just say Kano is a commercial city and leave all these plenty talks. Kano is a place to farm, buy farm produce and sell your goods. Among the 44 local governments only few are developed. Others are filled with mud houses and a large number of people who can't speak english. If not for cool fm and wazobia who broadcast in english, i doubt if one can be be able to listen to radio stations in Kano since most of the OAPs of other stations and callers communicate in hausa. No social life except if you go to town were igbo's dominate. No betting stores, bear parlours, churches, etc except in the town were igbo's dominate. 25 Likes 2 Shares |
