In 2007,the former governor of Rivers, Rt.Hon.Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi,took over the reigns of power and abandoned all developmental projects whose foundations where laid by both Dr.Peter Odili and Sir Celestine Omehia;ranging from rural electrification to urban renewals. From housing to road infrastructure etc,just to paint a picture of non performance by his predecessors,but today Barr.Nyesom WIKE is not only completing all abandoned projects of the other governors,he is also completing the ones that are abandoned by Amaechi irrespective of party affiliations.
This indeed is no small mean feat.

It's good to give verifiable examples when accusing Amaechi of abandonment. Amaechi reconstructed all of Odili's substandard roads including collapsed Airforce bridge. Amaechi equally completed the controversial power plants at Omoku, Eleme and Trans-Amadi started by Odili. Wike has equally done well in continuity like Amaechi and should be commended but at the pace he is going it remains impossible to equal 20% of Amaechi's achievement in infrastructure even if given 16 years.
