This is crazy how do you expect this to ameliorate the waste management menace in the city, the government is ill advised on this situation, why not support the local content instead of bringing in foreign investors when you know your local investors can do it better.

Politicians and their friends & family are the ones bringing these foreign guys to partner with them. Do you understand now. The rich get richer and the poor get fūcked

It would be good to have statistics on the number of trucks. Cos what I am seeing is not even enough to clean a small locality in Lagos talk less of the entire Lagos.

As long as they have professionals driving those vehicles then it's a welcomed development.

Don't worry. It will soon become the capital of Oduduwa Region!

Honestly I don't understand this move. It looks good on the surface but why cancel a PPP initiative by the last administration that was working and come out with a new project? Even if there were hiccups in it, the administration should have just modified it rather than waste time and resources coming up with a new initiative and leaving the city exposed to a health epidemic with all the unpacked rubbish all around. Do you know the time and resources that has been used in this would have been better committed to other things? What about the individuals who have invested in the PPP arrangement, what happens to their investments? Govt is supposed to be a continuum but with this kind of actions how can they be progress in the land? I hope the next administration after this won't scrap this and come up with their own.

Not so bro, the point here is why bringing in foreign investors, if u need any partnership do it with our local investors, do you realize that the bringing in of Visionscape has killed the business of lots of people that have invested hundreds of millions into the waste management business in lagos.
