It’s painful when nails split and break. This is embarrassing, especially if your occupation is related to dealing with people. If you want to have a good manicure, first of all you should treat your dry and damaged nails.

Prevent your nails from peeling and other issues by following the steps below:

1. Soak nails in olive oil
Extra virgin olive oil can do wonders to skin, hair and nails. If your nails are weak and thing, try and soak them in olive oil for around 15 minutes. This procedure should be performed twice per week. Do it for a month and see the results! Creams are good as well, but they are not as effective as oil.

2. Don’t overuse your nails
Fingernails are too tender. Do not try to use them to open soda cans or do any other thing of this kind. Pamper your nails and do not damage them.
