As part of activities leading to the African Senior Athletics Championship 2018, set to be hosted in Nigeria, in the city of Asaba, Delta State, the ASABA 2018 MASCOT CHALLENGE, is a creative engagement, put together with the primary aim of developing the perfect mascot for the athletics games before it’s resumption in 2018.

Managed by Nilayo Sports management, organizers of ASABA 2018, the mascot challenge is strictly for Delta State indigenes, who are expected to create mascots which tell a story and have a relatable origin, as they look to clinch the grand prize of ONE MILLION NAIRA, set aside for the winning concept.

Entries for the ASABA 2018 MASCOT CHALLENGE, open on the 15th of December and end on the 5th of January, 2018, after which the first 10 entries will be selected by votes across social media.

These 10 entries, will be hosted and promoted on the event website, www.caaasaba2018.com.ng, after which, the final 3 entries selected by votes and the eventual winner, selected by the Local Organizing Committee.

The ASABA 2018 MASCOT CHALLENGE, is a competition that is set to unleash, recognize and reward creativity through the power of engagement and story-telling.
