Hi Nairalanders, I am a huge fan of the google assistant like I use it all the time; to look up stuffs, for calculations and stuffs and I've been wondering if other people do the same hence the question.

Do you use google assistant? If no, why? If yes, how often?

I really want to know what you think about the 'google assistant', and by the way did you know that google can't answer certain questions?

since I notice it on my phone I have been using it.... I use it mainly when am in my frozen apps but need 2 open another app Dat is not frozen then I just use it and it works well..... or when am bored and just want 2 talk 2 something, so I talk 2 d phone and she replys well (altho it needs data connection 4 dis 1)...

I use Google assistant before and I love it/her but recently I observed she no longer replies me verbally, she prefers to give me written answers. I prefer she replies me verbally. I don't know if I've mistakenly touched some settings I shouldn't.

Aha. I do so too when I'm bored. Sometimes I ask it stupid questions to see its reply

I think it depends on the kind of question you ask. Although sometimes it just misbehaves.

99% of my questions are now answered in written form. Before it wasn't like this. She replied me mostly verbally before.

On a lighter note: I feel like she's holding grudge with me and giving me a cold treatment like an angry wife/girlfriend. I couldn't figure out how and where I offended her. She won't talk to me anymore.

I may be able to work you on the solution

Open Google Assistant, Click on the blue icon at the top of the screen, select the [b]three dots[\b] at the top right hand corner of the screen and go to settings.

Click on the phone option, look for speech output and turn it on. That should work

Yes. I always update all my apps to the latest version.

I only use it to set alarm.

Quite often, it's kinda great. I also use the daily subscription for news and quotes
