35 suspected cultists between the ages of 17-28 were arrested and paraded with their weapons within the week at the Benue State Police Command headquarters in Makurdi. Twenty six of them, based on intelligence, were intercepted and rounded up while being conveyed in three vehicles on their back to Makurdi from Otukpo with intention to cause mayhem at the North Bank area while nine were arrested in Ushongo LGA during a cult clash.
