As the mother, even if she did collapse, it would still be a normal response and reaction for her son's life hanging on a thin line.

There was report recently of a mother in Bayels who collapsed after sighting her son who has been away in US for five years.

These are normal responses from mothers, nothing shameful in the behaviour.
