I believe and know that our country Nigeria will be better in 2018, challenges are part of a nations life and for every epoch a leader emerges that changes the course of history.

Challeges are indeed part of a nations life, but unfortunately, Nigeria is not a nation.

Nigeria is just a country created by the British, that has long failed along ethnic, cultural and religious lines.

Expecting a failed organization to bring good tidings is like expecting HIV to bring long life

Gidgiddy, thats the point. We have to make it work, there are no Nations but Countries that turned to be Nations.

Gidgiddy, thats the point. We have to make it work, there are no Nations but Countries that turned to be Nations.

Why should we make it work? What do you think Nigeria is? A group of people who love each other? No it isnt.

Im an Igbo man, I think in a diffent way from a Yoruba or an Hausa/Fulani man.

Since 1960 the British left, we have went to war and killed each other in the millions, 50 years later, we are not united.

We have quit notices from the North, operation Python dance, operation crocodiile smile. Why? Why do need the military to keep Nigeria togethe?, But more importantly, why do we need to be together? Because the British called all of us "Nigerians"?

It doesnt make sense and this is not just about weather Nigeria works as a nation or not. Our colonial creatirs, Britain, already works as a nation and they are very rich. But as prosperous as Britain is, Scotland still wanted and got an independence referendum in 2014. Why would Scotland even think or dream of leaving the 5th richest country in the world like Britain?

Why would Igbos and their affilated minorities want to leave Nigeria, the economic giant of Africa?

The answer is simple

FREEDOM!

Anybody whoever thinks Nigeria will get better for the common good of it's citizen is either immature or naive or both.

If we are still operating with this system of government that allows for corruption and nepotism, I'm sorry but Nigeria won't get better. Ethnic and religious sentiments are not left out too.
