DEAR 2018

Thank you for yet another opportunity
To write a new 12 chapter book
I promise to leave my mark on your 365 pages
I pray God keep me to write your last words

Thank you for yet another sea of opportunities
I promise to ride your waves
I'll go wherever the tides take me
I pray God keep my board afloat

I welcome you with both arms
I know there will be good and bad days
Still, I look forward to them all
For I know each passing day will make me stronger

Let's take a moment silence for 2017
For she is gone with the wind never to be seen
I hope you will leave me happier than she made me feel
I can't wait to see all you have in store for me
