currentprice: though price yet to reach my 44.25 target, but for me enough is enough as i dont want to leave my trade over the xmas period... 97+ pips made today from three currency pairs. I actually targeted the London and the U.S. session since both were not on holiday and it paid off. My next trading day would be on friday after doing my analysis with thursday close. Wishing everyone a merry Christmas! 1 Like |

Brexit people has started their game plan. They will likely push it up with hundreds to thousands of pips before final brexit before major blow on the currency especially cable. They may still do buy bonanza before year runs out, who knows. 2 Likes |

topsyn03: Fxwarrior: Remember to add the spread on top. If for instance the spread is 3 pips, 40 pips SL on 111.370 will be 111.800. The market price shown on mt4 is the sell/bid price and since we know that a buy closes a sell and vice versa, the corresponding buy price for the bid price of 111.770 is 111.800. Also, I personally like to use a 9 as the last digit in 3/5 digit quotations for a sell and a 0 for the last digit in a buy. For me, a 40 pips tp and 40 pips SL in this scenario would end up being 111.809 and 111.009 respectively. AwesomeDuru: Fxwarrior using 400 pips and not 40 pips in his calculation shows he has been an old time trader or trained by one. Current price quotes are 3/5 digits whereby they used to be 2/4 digits. If topsyn03 had said 400 pips, as an intraday trader fxwarrior would still have understood and given him the same response understanding that he meant 400 pipettes. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I just recently started trading on the forex market... Although I've been practising since June this year... I started with a small sum on a FXTM CENT ACCOUNT and lost about 15,000 because I didn't understand the figures and I was still doing my college clearance... I recently reinvested 5000 naira but I haven't started trading with it because of this holiday period. I want those who are using the broker to tell me their reviewbecause I see a lot of confusing and unrelated reviews on google. I really believe that there is money to be made in the forex market. |

First thing, first! The first thing to do the moment you opt in for forex trading is to learn (via demo) to the point of being 'profitable'. It may take some days, weeks, months or even years. It is after this, you upgrade to go live. This will bring into consideration which broker to go for. In my humble opinion, you don't open a live account, fund it and then begin to learn. Also, asking for reviews about a broker should come BEFORE making a deposit. Not the other way around. What if the broker doesn't pay? How will you get back your money? @dukeprince50 I use this course that I downloaded from playstore... It's free and very good for learners... never overlook any chapter of it. It may not give you the experience you need in trading forex but it ups your chances by as high as 30% ( my opinion oo ) |
