*HAADITH'S ABOUT AQEEQO*

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ كُلُّ غُلاَمٍ رَهِينَةٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ تُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِ وَيُحْلَقُ وَيُسَمَّى ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَيُسَمَّى أَصَحُّ كَذَا قَالَ سَلاَّمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَإِيَاسُ بْنُ دَغْفَلٍ وَأَشْعَثُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ وَيُسَمَّى ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَرَوَاهُ أَشْعَثُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ وَيُسَمَّى ‏"‏ ‏.‏
Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: A boy is in pledge for his Aqiqah, Sacrifice is made for him on the seventh day, his head is shaved and he is given name. Abu Dawud said: The word wa yusamma is sounder as narrated by Salam b. Abi Muti' from Qatadah, and narrated by Iyas b. Daghfal and Ash'ath from al-Hassan who narrated wa yusamma (and he is given a name).

‏ مَعَ الْغُلاَمِ عَقِيقَةٌ، فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الأَذَى ‏"

Narrated Salman bin 'Amir Ad-Dabbi:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "'Aqiqa is to be offered for a (newly born) boy, so slaughter (an animal) for him, and relieve him of his suffering."

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ سِبَاعٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ كُرْزٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا، سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ فَقَالَ ‏
‏ عَنِ الْغُلاَمِ شَاتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ وَاحِدَةٌ وَلاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ ذُكْرَانًا كُنَّ أَمْ إِنَاثًا ‏"
‏ ‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏‏
Narrated Umm Kurz:
That she asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the 'Aqiqah. He said: "For the boy is two sheep, and for the girl is one, it will not harm you if they (i.e. the sheep) are male or female."

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏
‏ كُلُّ غُلاَمٍ مُرْتَهَنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ تُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ السَّابِعِ وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ وَيُسَمَّى ‏"

It was narrated from Samurah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Every boy is mortgaged by his "Aqiqah, so slaughter for him on the seventh day, and shave his head, and name him."

وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَالَ: {
كُلُّ غُلَامٍ مُرْتَهَنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ, تُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِ, وَيُحْلَقُ, وَيُسَمَّى"
} رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيّ ُ (1783)‏ ‏
Samurah (RAA) narrated that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
"Every boy is pawned against his 'Aqiqa, to be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day of his birth, his head is to be shaved, and he must be given a name." Related by the five Imams (Ahmad and the four Imams). At-Tirmidhi graded it as Sahih.
