It is simply not going to happen. Nigeria will not divide. Even if the terrorist organization called Fulani Herdsmen were to continue for a century. Even if IPOB were to continue their chants for a million years. The fact is, all section of the Nigerian amalgam is benefiting tremendously from the one-Nigeria project.

For instance, how many Igbos are willing to relinquish their business holdings in the other parts of the country just to go home and start from the scratch? Perhaps no on. An Igbo man that has build business empire worth several millions of Naira in Lagos is not going to abandon that in a misguided pursuit of a Biafran Eldorado. He is simply not going to forfeit the outcome of his sweat to start from the scratch what is uncertain. After all, if all Igbo businessmen return and relocate to the east, who exactly is going to buy their wares? Nigeria is their market, and they dare not lose that.

The same for the terrorists from up North called Fulani Herdsmen. They will continue killing while President Buhari inserts his head in the sand pretending nothing is happening. The victim communities too will keep crying, calling on the pretending President and calling on God to come and rescue them. But the situation will continue and the country will not disintegrate for it. Why? Because as Nigerians we have over the years developed a dangerous tolerance and acceptance for evil. We sit back and hope that one day God's judgement will fall through from the sky to punish the villains. The probability of that happening however is almost non-existent. So, the cycle of blood and of blaming and of dying and of mooing will continue, but Nigeria will continue standing in spite of it.

We are just too lazy, too uncaring to breakup.

But with time a few local communities will happen up the wisdom someday that the lives of the communities are in their hands to protect. And when are finally ready to attend to their own problems, then the terrorist will prefer not to invade their communities any longer.

After all, each Nigerian is his own government. He digs his own well. He builds his own house. He provides his own job. He supplies his own power. He provides his own security. And the concept of governmental governance is no more than a tale told but not believed.

We will stick together as one Nigeria. No matter what.
