u suppose to know that they will all resign or run away wen dey raise the issue datz wen u see dem complaining abt having wives and kids at home

some of u just talk like kids..

if u are not trained as a doctor, can u carry out surgery ? police men were not trained to fight terrorists.. soldiers were trained to do that..

there are weapons police men are not exposed to by law. Soldiers are exposed to such weapons by law. Mopol on the other hands are exposed to better training than the usual black and black police.. That is why u see mopol more with soldiers. Areas where we have security challenges, u would see mopols and soldiers as the only officers in such place. Mopols are not exposed to weapons needed to fight terrorists in the forests but they follow as cover ups in certain areas.

U can do engnieering jobs when u are not trained to do so. I know some police men are bad.. but my brother if only we can hate our politicians as much as we hate policemne, that would be good. we always hate the wrong people in Nigeria.

Mopol and police in general, no matter how useless u think they are, they are over important. If those guys dont work for one day, the news we would get wont be nice at all.

On the record, police men are not exposed to weapons soldiers are exposed to.. dont expect them to go to sambisa becus u cant perform the job of a doctor if u arent trained.

I'm a serving youth corp member and while I was in camp, I did all or even more than he posted there. So, nothing speciala @ all

o boy, forget that corper thing... i served too.. brotherly, u cant face flying bullets here and there when u know u can be hit and die at any fucking time..

when we see reason to appraise, lets do it. no big deal. He is a gallant mopol. He has faced flying bullets, gunned down robbers and enemies. It is not easy.

You are already rich my brother. Anytime I come across these wonderful men on lonely roads at night keeping the roads safe for us, I really feel for them. They deserve to be celebrated. God bless Nigeria Police.

Thank you jaree.. at least u have conscience.. some people just post like kids here.. I do see them under rain, heavy sun.. very dangerous job. Very risky. At least, soldiers are only exposed to such risk only when there is intense danger in the society. These officers are exposed to life danger every day.

I do feel for them and when i have small thing with me, i do give them if i see them on roads. Once in a while, lets show them love. I know most of them are annoying and corrupt. That is how bad nigeria is. almost every sector has corrupt people. God bless us.

A gallant police officer identified as Oluwa Oscar Lam, has revealed how proud he is to be working in the Nigerian Police Force. The policeman who lives and works in Lagos - took to Facebook to share the below words as he compared himself with an "ordinary" civilian. Read below;

I am a proud POLICE OFFICER

They Have University, We Have Training College.

They Have Vice Chancellor, We Have Commandant.

They Have Lecturers, We Have Instructors.

Their Day Starts by 0700hrs, but Ours by 0400hrs.

They Wake up 0600hrs, We Jump up 0300hrs.

They Shake Hands, We Salute.

They Wear Gucci, We Wear Carmo/Khaki.

They Keep Their Hairs, We Cut Off Our Hairs.

They Wake Up, We Jump Up.

They walk, We Double In Divisions.

They Have Students, We Have Cadets/Recruits.

They Have Dining Halls, We Have Mess.

They Go On Break, We Go On Pass.

They Have Conference Hall, We Have Parade Ground.

To Them Nigeria Flag Stays up For 24/7, To Us We Have Colour And Sunset.

They Have Graduation Party, We Have Passing Out Parade.

To Them Injury Is For One And One Only Whilst To Us Injury For One Injury For All.

They Get Short Term Light Drills Only In Their NYSC, Whilst Rigorous Drills Is Our Everyday Blood Tonic.

They Are School Colleagues, We Are Brothers.

They Have Civilian Blood, We Have MOPOL Blood.

They Demand For Respect, We Command Respect.

I took this job knowing I may never get rich,

I've missed out so many holidays, church services and special occasions in order to protect lives,

I'm expected to work miracles and do things other people are scared to do and even save lives.

It has been proven that my life expectancy is shorter than yours because of the stress I go through and the sickness I get exposed to, and yet there are no hero movies about us.

I must give my life everyday for people I dont know, have never met before and even those who dont like me.

When my family is home suffering alone I'm out here in the cold, dangerous situations all in the name of protecting property and saving life.

I am a warrior who gave oath to die for my people!

I am a POLICE OFFICER

Happy new year to you all.
