The term sart up, I feel, just carries this stigma that a company is young, immature, prone to mistakes, can fail anytime.

Smile telecoms is still referred to as a start up in some spheres despite having presence in quite a number of countries and having high valued assets. There are many other big companies like that.

So when can a company graduate from being referred to as a start up and just be referred to as a business and what might the necessary criteria be?
