drone99: If you do have a right hand in Nigeria, you should be prepared to settle police at every junction and also dont let LASTMA(i assume you're in lagos) catch you To avoid LASTMA , best thing to do is get tints and only drive in the evening/night |

Does it mean i have to convert my RHD car to LHD? Is it that a good option to consider? |
Re: Right-hand Drive by r231(m): 11:51am On Apr 09, 2010 |
Dont let those ROAD SAFETY pple catch you at all just make sure you have at least 5k min to settle dem everytime they see you normal police/lasma you can still shout at them but those road safety NO |

drone99: There was a topic i posted sometime last yr asking how much i can convert a 645Ci. When i found out how much it will cost , the price could buy another car. So now the car is tinted and only driven in the night. If your car is like a toyota or honda where you can easily get the parts then i'm sure you can find people who can convert it for you. If you cant get the parts easy or the car is a new reg then dont bother getting the RHD car |

Its up to you to decide since you havent shipped the car to lagos yet: 1 - make sure you have total cost of how much the whole change will cost you and the person is good at what he does 2 - add that price to how much it will cost you to get the car in uk, ship it to naija & then how much it will cost you to collect it from the port 3 - If its way cheaper then go for it, if not - im sure you can find some NL car dealers who can give you a good price for a LHD one |
