he was the same governor who told AGATU to lay down their arms when they were faced with this same crisis which also led to the arrest of so many AGATU indigenes forcing them to lay down arms(he called it amnesty), it was after a week or two this herdsmen attacked AGATU again and claimed so many life in the area.
the killing during the said amnesty was the most bloody of all time in the crisis


i can remember he went to AGATU with Gov. Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of nasarawa state to preach amnesty and peace then

when he is serious, he know what to do and how to go about it

If l should say, all the security operatives will not apprehend the perpetrators because is like they have instructions from above not to touch them because they are untouchables. Since those genocide by Fulani herdsmen started, how many of them is arrested? Telling the IGP is fooling yourselves because he is part of the genocide by his brother's. The state governors should arm his people to fight back and stop telling their people to stay claim and continue to get slaughtered. Corpses, henceforth should be delivered to the president country home, Daura because he needs the corpses.

Governor Ortom is a fool (like most Nigerians). He admitted to disarming his people (as, according to him, he trusted that Buhari has the capacity to protect them. Big fool.

Even the police is under the direct supervision and authority of the same Presidency, the Governor exercises no authority over even the Commissioner of Police in his state without the say-so of the IG who answers to the President. Do u propose that the Governor form his own police? Is the situation in Benue about mere thieves in the neighbourhood? Is this not an outright massacre with perpetrators armed to the teeth against hapless civilians? Is the Army not supposed to be on ground when they go about for routine show of force in peaceful areas and to rout kidnappers, armed robbers and the likes?
