The guy who went into the swamp wasn't well strapped. He could have easily fall too or get injured. Please, LRU needs to be aware ASAP. This particular mission looks dangerous as it appear in the pics.

Re: Daring Rescue: LASEMA Recognizes Daring Third Mainland Bridge Rescue Responders by Nobody: 10:56pm On Jan 08, 2018
Why all these tribalistic comments?

At first, the guy(s) is/are Ibos

Left Southeast for Southwest

Got employed by a southwestern state's government agency

His/Their duty(ies) is/are to save lives.

After an operation, they were recognised n applauded.

Now, what is the fuse about iPOB, afonja, developers, et. al.

Something needs to be done to squash these issues of tribalism and religion bigotry.

The duo should be grateful to Afonjas who gave them employment grin

That is not a proper equipment for such emergency rescue. He indeed a hero to have risked his life to by hanging on sling belt. The should buy rescue safety harness and train people to use it against similar occurrence.

See why we say shun tribalism? If ugochukwu had been 'sent back to his village' on state orders who knows if there might have been a rescue??
