My fear is for the maintenance of this facility, Nigerians being who we are - zero maintenance culture. I hope the government employs guards to make sure this facility is well protected.

This is a welcome development. Now, we need this in all other states, especially Lagos, to help decongest the roads and improve living conditions.

Lagos should have been the first to commission its light rail project. I have no idea what happened to it.

This is what Ambode should have done on the Oshodi - Abule egba - tollgate axis instead of the BRT. It is obvious the initial proposed Red lane is no longer visible.

Nobody should even talk about the red line again. The blue line of just 27km has been under construction for 12 years now without any headway. It will probably take 100 years to construct the red line. Ambode should just try and finish the blue line abeg.

Constructing the Red line does not even make sense anymore, the corridor is already congested with the existing narrow gauge lane and ongoing Lagos - Ibadan standard rail.
But constructing a monorail from tollgate could run all the way to link the blue line at costain or Iganmu, passing through Oshodi - Mushin - moshalasi - ojuelegba - stadium. This would have decongest that route alot.
