d govt ban on open grazing is just anoda deception to launch dier much awaited evil policy "Grazing Reserve"
check out buari's govt plan as revealed by audu ogbe n note d bolded.

The minister added that the Federal Government was “planning a programme called cattle colonists, not ranches but colonists where at least 5000 hectares of land would be made available, adequate water, adequate pasture would be made available.

did u notice d contradiction? on one hand buari's directionless govt is claiming dat dey ban open grazing n dey support ranching, on d oda hand same govt is planning to forcefully collect peoples lands for fulani terrorist herders. however instead of using grazing reserve dey opted for grazing colonies
dey knew using word like grazing reserve will be rejected so dey decided to camouflage it with "Colonies"
wat is "Cow Colonies?" dis is pure Grazing Reserve on full glare!

Igbos should pass around dis article to expose d lies n evil plans of buari's govt.

just like dey do in oyel sector where they instigate fuel scarcity to usher in new price increase, d satanic govt of buari dis time sponsored killings of harmless pipul to user in their master plan "Grazing Reserve" for fulani herds men all ova nijeriya. dis is classic create a crisis n impose d law scheme. in dis case grazing reserve.

Igbos will not allow an inch of land to be given to terrorist for grazing reserve anywhere in south east!!

5000 hectares of lands in all States? Or a total of 5000 hectares in Nigeria... If it's the later, a total of 180,000 hectares would be freely given to people who have no ancestral claim to the lands. With time they would start the installations of local heads and emirs and Emirates.

Get married to the locals, secretly killing of the aborigines, and gradually the aborigines would go into extinction while they continue the fulanitazation of of locals. And in 2000 years to come, a book would have been written on how they where the original owner of the community, lands, villages and farm. How they left it due to their nomadic nature but now they are back.

All attempt by the federal government led Buhari to fulanitise Nigeria must be resisted by all be it Yoruba, Igbo,Igala,Hausa,I jaw and all tribes who value their cultural heritage. cry

I voted for Buhari in the last election thinking he was better than Jonathan but now he is been confirmed to be worst, this time no way. I will use my body and my money to ensure he returns to Daura.
This is 21st century.
BUHARI IS A COMPLETE FAILURE.
Nigerian youths should wake up

if u read, d report, u will see where audu ogbe said govt will dedicate 5000 hectares of land establish "Cow Colonies" with necessary facilities like water etc across d con3

notice d bolded "across d con3"? , d govt is economical with d truth. it will take more dan 5000 hectares of land for dis evil venture to be done across d con3. wat u ar seeing is notin but grazing reserve! dey ar trying to implemented grazing reserve through d window.

all peace loving people who do not desire to end up like benue state should vehemently reject any attempt by dis govt to set up grazing colonies aka grazing reserve in their communities.

What is the meaning of hard options?

Fulani are being encouraged to buy land from communities and set-up their ranches as done in this 21st century.

Do you know what ranches are?

How hard can that be?

Must Buhari necessarily seize people's land and hand over to his Fulani relations because he is president today?

name d hard options to fulani terrorism.
.

1. Sending the army after them, how do you differentiate innocent people from the real criminals. Remember the army may act on information forwarded by the citizenry. Should such information results in unwanted deaths, you will be among the first to want to comment that PMB has gone mad again.

2 there is the constitutional provision to freedom of movement .The marauders have their sympathisers in high places too with tentacles extending to the judiciary

3. The chance that some criminal elements may be perpetuating crime under the guise of Fulani
cattle marauders as was the case in Enugu.

That said, I am not impressed with the timing of the government intervention. It is coming much too late in the crisis considering that many lives have been lost unnecessarily. The FG plan may not be the eureka we are looking for but anything to stem the tide till a permanent and lasting solution is found is highly needed urgently

Or what solution do you proffer. Criticising is very easy

There is no seizing of land here. I believe whatever arrangement that will arise will be made in collaboration with the state govt and the affected communities. Otherwise, what is your panacea to the menace.

The states have roundly rejected such arrangements.

You can check the news for updates.

No single state agreed to any federal arrangement to appropriate their land for Fulani grazing reserve.

Even the joker in Kogi State has not carried his madness to that level.

Panacea is for Fulani to buy land from communities for ranching.

They will have to grow or buy grass/hay as fodder to feed the cattle.

Bukola Saraki has already shown the way in Kwara State with the imported Zimbabwean farmers.

Let them go and understudy the system.

Typical business people go into any state they chose to do business and acquire property for their business.

If they run the business well, they will make profit and pay tax to government.

That is the right thing to do.

You can't be killing people everywhere and trying to use force to appropriate their property.

I see your proposal but it is not too far from that of the govt which I am tacitly supporting. Understand that no way the FG will acquire any land without paying compensation which is same as buying it.
In the alternative the community/ state govt may choose to lease the land to the govt. Is this not better than allowing the herd owners buying the land directly from the land ownerd. These clashes do not have the luxury of time. It needs to be curtailed urgently before ISIS/BH decides to have a look in SMF worsened a
n already dire situation.

It is too far from what you and Buhari are pushing. Very, very far.

Government buying land from state governments is the same as the grazing reserves they are pushing.

It will be resisted.

Fulani would see themselves as privileged and hide under that to continue their occultic killings.

It would be difficult for state governments to control since they would claim they are on "federal government land".

They already see themselves above the laws of the states.

The arrangement would further confer a special status on them.

It is impractical.

There is no reason we should indulge Fulani because of cows.

It means that federal government must acquire land to hand over to chicken farmers who decide to be violent tomorrow or the next day.

Buying land from land owners is what every business owners do.

Dangote acquired his refinery land from Lekki land owners, facilitated by the Lagos State government.

Your ISIS blackmail wont move anyone (that is if there is anything like that again).

Reports by an international organization tracking terrorism in the world rated Fulani herdsmen as the 4th in the world.

A faction of Boko Haram already pledged allegiance to ISIS long ago.

In any case, Buhari said he had defeated Boko Haram.

The decimation of ISIS and defeat of Boko Haram will definitely push Fulani herdsmen terrorist higher in the ranking.

The law in Benue State gave the Fulanis a timeline which expired last December.

Your argument and the federal government's are tending toward appeasement which is the most dangerous aspect of it.

Why can't they buy land for themselves?
