West Ham's victory over Sunderland does nothing but confirms Portsmouth's relegation to the championship.
Financial troubles which have seen the club taken over a couple of times and the club going into administration tell how horrid a season the south coast club have had.
Wish Pompey and all its fans the best as they head for the championship.

Blame the Premiership for this assault on any sense.

But for the threats I have no doubt we would have made
a late season burst and got to 40 points.

But they have something against us. Conniving with the bankers
the Premier League has succeeded in precipitating the demise of
the most vibrant team in the league.

This marks the end of an era for Portsmouth. Who knows they just might be back in 2011 or maybe not. At least, there's something to cheer about, they are in the FA cup final and might just win it for the 2nd time in two years. Thats a lot of money for the broke back club from the competition itself, TV rights, etc. I'll love to see them win it and play in the Europa league from the Championship, what a spectacle that would be. All hope aint lost yet!

Portsmouth have applied for a license to play in Europe next season so they just might be playing in the Europa League from the Championship if they win the F.A cup and also if the English F.A allows them
