The Catholic Bishop of Gboko Diocese, Benue State, Bishop William Avenya, has slammed the Nigerian government over its loud silence on the killing of Benue citizens by Fulani herdsmen.

The Holy Father said it was sad and unfortunate that after voting overwhelmingly for the current government during the 2015 general elections only for them to be rewarded with dead bodies of their citizens courtesy of Fulani attacks.

This is the worst investment the living can get in this world. lives is sacrosanct to those that blood flows in their veins but fulanis heldsmen I doubt anything flows in them at all.
