Dirkcoyt:
.Rough analysis.
1.Mtn was dropped from top 4 list because it currently own the largest market of the telecom sector

2. Nigeria government are wary of selling 9mobile to a foreign coy because it will be strengthening a foreign coy with a needless monopoly.

3. the antecedent of mtn as regarding how the ncc fine was handled, Nigeria can't risk trusting such coy further.

Airtel

1. the instability of Airtel won't make it a financial/investors choice, we remember the econet, vmobile, zain transition.

2. it is foreign, owned by an Indian, the government won't want to create another situation where the Arab etisalat owners fled whereby creating a vacuum.

3. What sense will it make from the Nigerian government selling 9mobile to Airtel which makes two foreign coy controlling the telecom industry at the expense of a financially capable Nigeria company? mtn controls 40+% selling to Airtel takes them to 40+% also leaving a homegrown at 20+% .

Glo

1. A greater pointer to glo buying it stands at 70%
because it's homegrown. no further way to promote the buy Nigeria to grow naira

2. Recently glo just call Benin republic a bluff by not renewing their license which shows they are focusing their energy on owning the Nigeria market since they can see some green light.

3. selling to glo makes the government more confident in securing the data's and information of its citizen.

helio and smile

The truth is they stand no chance , the telecom market is saturated and its survival of the fitest . they haven't been test and I don't think the government is interested in going through all this phase all again. Dangote said he didn't joined the telecom industry because he feels his late to the party. which means is not what going into telecom industry as a new player.

The answers is the odd of 9mobile going to Glo is 70% .that is a favorable pass mark already.
Sell to Glo 98% of the 9mobile staff will lose thier job…. Not good for the Govt. Adenuga is just interested in numbers thats all.. GLO services are wacked. Adenuga is just interested in being the biggest telecom in Africa grin grin grin

GLO services are wacked, I know guys who work in GLO's finance dept… .bros what goes out is far more than what comes in. They are not making any profit. Adenuga is just interested in being the biggest telecom in Afica and he is playing very dirty to get it grin grin grin

You're wrong. your position defiles logic. a lot of terms and conditions will be met in the whole selling. and no where will a company sack 98% of newly inherited workers. though some workers will be wed out which government herself knows its inevitable.

You know people that work at glo financial department? yeah. we get that story a lot around here. no company stays afloat for 10years with little coming in and much going out.

Thank you jare. I have a feeling you are an insider.
I have been reading many subtle campaigns by Glo to tilt the bid in its favour.

I won't say too much for now. Fingers crossed.

NITEL should continued from where they stop and change the name from 9mobile to NITEL.

One thing i know and am sure of is that no matter what we think and do in life we will not live forever in this world. For those who think that they can sell our future to the highest bidder, even if we can't fight back now, god of vengeance will fight for us. They stole our money to enrich themselves and their children who turns out to be drug addicts, gambler and womanizers lavishing the ill-gotten wealth. God is watching us.
