Parents in Kaduna state came out en mass in solidarity with the state government's plan to sack over 21,000 teachers that failed the October 2017 competency test. On Wednesday, the National leader of the Nigeria Labour Congress led teachers in the state to protest against the planned strike. The NLC leaders are demanding the re-training of the teachers, a decision the state government is kicking against. Governor Nasir El-Rufai in a recent interview with Channels TV said he cannot re-train illiterates that failed primary four set of questions that was given to them during the competency test.

The parents on the state came out to show their support for the reforms the state government is embarking in the education sector. See more photos from the protest below

These are parents with the development of their children at heart. NLC/NUT are just bunch misguided criminals trying to politicise what can never be politicised by any stretch of the imagination.

How, in the name of all good things, will you protest against the sack of teachers who don't understand what they teach, under whatever guise?

How does this even make sense to them?

Anyway, I trust Elrufai, he is not a coward that can be intimidated by any media propaganda. He should bloody sack any erring teacher in this NUT who fails to do what he is being paid for. Bunch of blazing bastards.
