Position:  Corrosion Control Engineers/Inspectors/Technicians

Brief:
Alduco Energy Ltd is a 100% indigenous company setup to provide corrosion control services in Nigeria. It has partnered with Deepwater Corrosion Services (Houston) USA, (www.stoprust.com), who is a leader in the provision of corrosion control services worldwide. Deepwater´s clients include all the top oil & gas companies in the world.

You will be expected to carry out corrosion control duties mainly in Nigeria with some scope to work in Equatorial Guinea and other countries, as directed by Alduco Energy Nigeria and it’s partner Deepwater Corrosion Services (Houston) USA.

You will also be trained by Deepwater Corrosion Services on corrosion control techniques, their innovative products and services. This will all be done in accordance with international standards.

Description of duties:
1. Corrosion Management, CP Survey, Monitoring and Measurement.
2. Cathodic Protection Systems Design, Retrofitting, Installation, testing, etc. according to DNV & NACE standards.
3. Onshore pipeline surveys
4. Topside Inspections
5. Underwater (Subsea) Inspections.
6. NDE inspections
7. Risk Based Inspection (RBI) which is an added advantage

QuaQualification First Degree and above
Required CerCertificates NACE, SSPC, ICCOR, ASME, API or equivalent
Number of years of experience: Three (3) and above
Field of experience: Oil and Gas onshore and offshore facilities
Computer knowledge: MS Office.
Language: English

Knowledge required:
1. Cathodic Protection Systems Design, Installation, Testing, etc. according to NACE & DNV standards.
2. Topsides inspection
3. Subsea survey
4. CP survey, monitoring & measurement.
5.  Knowledge of various types of below grade and atmospheric coatings
6. Deep knowledge of all relevant international engineering standards and codes of practice
