The Inspector General of police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris on Monday insisted that Nigerians must continue to live under one umbrella.

In a statement via the ‘Nigerian Police Force’ Facebook, Idris reiterated that “we should concentrate on issues that keep us together as a country, not issues that tend to divide us.”

“In continuation of his efforts to restore lasting peace in Benue and Nasarawa States and end all forms of Killings, emplace peaceful coexistence and provide adequate protection of lives and properties; the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM, mni, is currently holding a peace meeting with Governors and Stakeholders from Benue and Nasarawa States and Traditional Rulers from both States, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

“We must live as one and concentrate on issues that keep us together as a country, not issues that tend to divide us.”

Live as one when the Fulani's are busy killing other Nigerians and getting away with it, it is statement like this that makes me wish Nigeria should just be divided, and if not go back to the era of the first republic and let every region develop at their own pace.

Unity and peace can only be possible when there's justice.


A society where corrupt politicians walks free whilst those who steals chicken due to hunger languish in prisons.

Where BH terrorists are being released back into the society without prosecution cos some people claimed they've become born again despite killing thousands.

Where a group agitating for secession are labelled terrorists while Fulani herdsmen militias terrorists that has killed thousands are treated with kids gloves.

Where fiscal federalism/restructuring that should be the basis of our development is disdained cos some prefer to feed fat on oil resources.

Where VAT from alcohol is being shared to states who practice sharia. They'll never considers such as haram.

Where the security architecture of the country is in the grip of a particular region.

Where the region that lays the golden egg is neglected and is left to crude oil pollution.



Can our leaders sincerely say there's justice in this faulty political structure called Nigeria
