Point of correction; Mercedes-Benz, Daimler AG and Maybach are all different companies, founded in different yrs but are all under Mercedes-Benz Group just like Toyota and Lexus.
Fact: Daimler was founded in 1926 nt Mercedes-Benz while Maybach was founded in 1909. Other brands under Mercedes-Benz are Smart, Flightliner, McLaren, StarBenz .......

Innoson was founded in 1987 despite starting as a motorcycle company just like many other car brands. e.g Honda started with motorcycles in 1949 and made their first car in 1963 "Honda T360".

You can also double check with the owner of the company and CAC (Corporate Affairs Commission).

Acura is a Honda brand, Lexus is a Toyota brand. Jaguar was founded in 1934 I think and Land Rover in 1948 and both merged in 2013 to become one company.
