I'll advise you to start a small scale farming, poultry preferably. I believe you've got a substantial understanding about it.

I am an agric graduate too. Why not use the little you learnt in school and start something of your own in the agric business?

I don't know about you, I opted for job before as well. Graduates are not appreciated in Nigeria. They are more like manual laborers.

Agric is yet to be fully tapped. Tap it.

Times have really changed, gone are the days when graduates only best shot is a corporate employment......today employment is by divine luck, connection and skills. The later(skill), has become the hope of every graduates, unfortunately the wall of the University rarely equip us with such skill hence, the need for internship as a graduate.
As a graduate of Agric, I will advise you to discover your strength and limitations (weakness), should you want to start a related business in agriculture, what are your chances, analyse your chances, if above pass mark....go for it...but if below....seek alternative......

We have existing job vacancy for farm managers, farm supervisors etc.

You will have to go through 3-6 months internship training before we can post you out to manage or supervise a farm.

The school system did not actually prepare the agric graduates for the life after school activities.

So many farms are in need of farm managers which a Nigerian University graduates know nothing about.

To absorb a graduate, the companies need to re train them again on what it entails to be an agriculturist

Starting out alone is not as easy as people make it to be on paper.

Reality in life us different from the rumours

I will suggest you attach yourself to a company, farm etc to gain more practical experience before setting out on your own.

You will be saving yourself some tonnes of naira.

Just my own opinion

Have you heard this? Many Nigerian exporters have been defrauded of huge amount of money in the process of exporting commodities to foreign countries. Do you know why? They were not trained on export operations, management, documentations and the best methods of payment in export trade. This is terrible!!! Nigerians cannot continue to lose money to foreigners in the course of export business. Exporters, why don’t you get a practical manual that teaches the stages of export trade from processing and packaging of commodities to receipt of payment by the foreign buyers. It teaches export operations, export management, export documentations and methods of payment in export trade? It is a contemporary step-by-step guide to export trade. It tells all the contemporary dynamics in export trade. To get it, click on the link below:
