The Party won't let him nor Obama type.. If I am wrong, let any Party adopt Dangote/Iweala and see the Miracle.

George Weah was not elected because of popularity, he was elected because he had something to offer, was persistent and never gave up on his dreams and aspirations... if it was because of popularity, he would have beaten Ellen Johnson Sir-leaf

Let him go and settle the quarrel between his untrained wife and his jobless brother first. A man that cannot control, con-ordinate and effectively manage his small family can definitely not manage Nigeria.

We will not know until he joins a political party, run for their primaries and ready to play politics.

I wouldn't vote Kanu just because of his superstar status.
He has to have something to offer.

If you look at George Weah's journey, you would see a man tenacious in his quest to excel and improve himself.
WAEC to Masters degree in just a few years.

If such a Figure were to contest in Nigeria, many Nigerians would be stupidly hung up on jejeune issues like his Tribe, Religion, etc. He might not even be noticed at all if he doesn't join one of the major parties.

A man that can't control his wife has no business with managing the affairs of Nigerians.
Dead on arrival.

You know it's not so easy in Nigeria to form a massive party.

It's achievable though.

I believe a young person outside of these vicious circles can make his presence felt with heavy publicity campaigns.

But sharing money? I laugh.
Those corrupt guys have endlessly deep pockets.
Imagine sharing thousands in every Ward of the federation!
It would be impossible to keep up with that.

People up there be talking about controlling the wife like she is linked to a remote control or something.

Weah and Kanu may have been good footballers but they are not the same politically. He should just concentrate on the heart foundation

Many factors needed to win elections besides name recognition

What kind of joker are you?

Use Barack Obama as model for a leader.

What can a footballer do to progress Nigerian politics?

Our politics need a unique person with a blend of exposures and enlightenement. OP, please stop insulting intelligence here. We wish Weah and Liberia luck but no footballer president for Nigeria abeg. grin

You guys are mediocres!

Are you blind and deaf? Dont you see and hear whats going on in America? They elected a savvy businessman with ZERO political exposure. He has been experimenting with US since he got in.

I dont even think Dangote has serious business acumen. The guy has access to ennablers that removed competition and gave him market monopoly...thats how he topped the business executive class.

What does he know about politics?

Can Iweala govern a LG?

Let me get out of this irritating thread
