How is this newsworthy? That members of a political party endorsed their incumbent president for a second term? Who else would they have endorsed?

Its been shifted away from Atiku to someone yet to be announced.. I'm thinking it'll be Donald Duke!!!

2019 is just confusing. If Buhari doesn't contest, then one of the upcoming Northerns will come in in his stead, PDP will field theirs, and the battle continues

It took Jonathan just few weeks to select a bunch of corrupt ministers and other government officials that would ccollectively loot our national treasury. They first focused on excess crude account and when it was sufficiently looted they then turned to foreign reserve. They got that depleted sufficiently before he alerted his colleagues that their time is up. They predicted recession penultimate his administration knowing full well that Nigerians cannot escape that. Now they see from distant points where they went for self-imposed political asylum that the coast is getting clearer and they want to come back. Reno is speaking from all sides of his mouth at London. Deziani is pretending to be sick at a London hospital. The voracious attacker of Goodluck Jonathan thst was converted after visiting Aso villa then in the person of Femi Kayode is using same strategy to gain attention now. Fence politician Atiku has veered off his selfish track in APC pretending to be willing to rescue gullible Nigerians. Some Nigerians that benefited handsomely from the past looting administration are aligning with others to come back to looting table. Forgetful Nigerians see Obj as saint, Good luck as messiah, FFK as advocate of the downtrodden and Reno as a man man of God. He has become a lover of Igbo race forgetting his writeup "The bitter truth about the igbos" (anyone interested can read that up online).
What most Nigerians fail to understand is that parties cannot save us but rather people. Again, no one who expects a change in any aspect of life should expect to still live with the luxury of the previous lifestyle. Truly most Africans lack foresight and hindsight. We forget the past easily and don't mind how the future will look like. We only think about today. Our emotions are political weapons. Everyone wants Jesus to be crucified no one asks why. We want Buhari out without looking at reasons.
Our selfishness is second to none. It s so grievious that if God grants some Nigerians space in heaven they will lock up the door for fellow country people. Maybe entrance will be based on religion, family and ethnicity. We always join the moving train irrespective of its destinations.
Nigeria cannot be better than Nigerians. when Nigerians are better, then we have a better Nigeria. We should collectively choose in every aspect to make Nigeria better. The haves should help the havenots. People should stop accumulating dubious and dirty money to the detriment of future generations.
We Nigerians should accept that we all collectively, intentionally or unwittingly made our nation the way it is today. Same way our collective fecundity through honesty, selflessness, diligence, philanthropy, commitment and patriotism will help us to restore the dignity of this country. No student who always apportion blames to his teachers will hardly improve. Unless we do these, our problems will appear to be inherent, endemic and chronic.

Traditionally, the SE doesn't vote Against the ruling party at the Presidential elections. 2015 was a miscalculation because they thought Goodluck was going to win.

In 1999, they betrayed Ekwueme at the PDP primaries and voted Obasanjo at the elections.

In 2003, they betrayed Ojukwu who contested under APGA and voted for Obasanjo of PDP.

In 2007, they betrayed Orji Uzor Kalu of PPA and voted Yar'Adua of PDP.

In 2011, they voted Goodluck under PDP instead of Osita Okechukwu.

In 2015, they voted GEJ again, but he lost.

Opposition politics is new to the SE and they can NEVER survive it. One reason is that the SE hasn't had a central rallying force since the time of Ikemba. The present leaders are just fraudsters, thieves and crooks.

The SE votes are very inconsequential simply because they are predictable. Buy the leaders and the people vote as usual. That is what the present PDP and APC leadership is rubbing in the faces of the PDP members at the national level.

Mark this post, by 2019, the SE would vote massively for the APC even if it is an Hausa goat not even human being that is contesting.

This is the bitter truth.

Some leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress from the South East on Monday met with President Muhamamdu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The party chiefs were led to the meeting which was held behind closed doors by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.

Onu later told State House correspondents that the purpose of the meeting was to intimate the President of the decision reached at a meeting of the party chiefs on December 31.

He said, “The APC leadership in the South East met on December 31 last year and endorsed the President for a second term.

“We have come today to reaffirm that and to assure Mr. President that the party is working very hard to win future elections.”

The minister said Buhari was happy especially considering the calibre of members of the delegation.

He added, “He was very happy because you can see the calibre of people in this delegation, a very high-powered delegation.

“We have former leaders of the National Assembly at the highest level, Senate President, Speaker, House of Representatives, former heads of government at the state level, one governor or represented by the deputy governor because the governor is out of the country, all the ministers from the South East, serving members in the National Assembly both in the Senate and House of Representatives, former members of the National Assembly and very important members in the party.

“We have our National Vice Chairman in the South East, members of the National Working Committee and National Executive Committee all present.

“So the President was very happy that such a delegation thought it fit to come and visit him.”

Buhari should forget about getting votes in SE/SS.
He should concentrate on deceiving again the middle belt, SW and major parts of NE and Southern Kaduna..

APC is just dead in SE..

There is online/social networks campaign being carried out in the South and Middle belt about Buhari's islamization agenda,Fulani herdsmen and Fulani's plan to to set up Emirs in the Christian south and Middle belt.. All this thing is real and Buhari's body language supports it..

Buhari will not get up to 1k vote in SE... Mark my words!!

.those doing this understand the political game they are playing. Buhari for second term would hasten the chance of Igbo Presidency in 2023 rather than voting for a new person from the North in 2019 that would want to use his own 8years, as a result delaying the Igbo Agenda till 2027. It would make the North hold on to power for 12 years uninterrupted. #MyThought
