The Journey

Rochas Foundation is the light for today’s underprivileged children. Founded in 1998, the founder started by giving out to the poor on the street in the northern region of Nigeria. The Foundation started as a show of love towards humanity.
The Rochas foundation in October 8th, 2001 inaugurated the first college in Owerri, Imo state which is free with boarding facilities. Other schools emerged consecutively in Kano, Jos,, Ibadan and Ogboko in Imo State. The main vision of the foundation is to make education accessible and free for African children from indigent homes to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor in the society. The Foundation, going beyond the border of its founding state, went further to open up five more schools in Sokoto, Zaria, Yola, Bauchi & Enugu, all within Nigeria.
Every child counts at Rochas Foundation and because of this, the foundation’s operation was extended to fifty-five African countries and five indigents were picked for free education and it marked the establishment of Rochas Foundation College of Africa (ROFOCA).
Through the Rochas Foundation, with a vision to make education free and accessible to every less privileged African child, regardless of tribe, religion, or class, free education has been provided for over 15, 000 children in Nigeria and across Africa.
