Why are you guys calculating this way? of course he can be the grand-father.
What If he had his father at 65, and his father had him at 65 as well.
His father could be the last child, he could be the last child of his father as well

comparing the comments here to the ones on Facebook, you will see the reality of life...

Hypocrisy rules the world, people will only say things which are pleasing to your face but here on a faceless forum, the same people express their feelings with liberty regardless of your feelings

Father lord his lands are sown and reaped his sons are reaping and have sowed, give him strength to raise his forth seeds and thee after them, make not the rest of his days in pain bless his heart richly that he may bless his generations, may his watch which began 150 years ago continue till his light is passed on, may the 25 elders of heaven pray with him daily,

LOL. He is old, but not that old. I've since learnt that people of that generation (especially if they are illiterate) are usually bad at keeping record of their years. I know one old woman who swore she was over 160. We asked her how old she was when she gave birth to her daughter who was in her 60s at the time, and she said, "Around 70 or so."

You gave birth at 70. As Sarah or as Elizabeth that you are.

In addition to Sexism and Racism, Ageism ranks as a common form of Social Discrimination. Elder Abuse is very common In Nigeria and you can tell by just looking at the Pension regime. The way Pensioners are made to queue up for verification after verification in the most inhumane conditions. Also no consideration or provision is made in our public policy and budgets for elders welfare even though that is where we are all ending up. Elders are the No 1 target of all Kinds of Scams including ATM , online fraud and other business scams

The Poor 145 year old Grandfather obviously looking sick never bargained for this kind exposure. Can the OP honestly say that his grandfather consented to his picture being circulated online in this manner and in his present condition. This is a blatant form of elder abuse and constitutes a form of Ageism.

We need laws in this country to protect elders from abuse.
