i have a honda baby boy 2001, d car consumes a lot, 2 be precise, it burns 30liters 4 a journey of 140 miles. ave replaced d nossle, fuel pump, fuel filter, scanned wit obd11, reports fault of p1166 and p1167 changed censor on manifold and exhaust underneath, it is still same problem and d check light is on steady. can some body pls help me wit solution 2 ds cos i cant afford 2 loss d car 4 any amount. pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls help meeeeee b4 my pocket dries up |

You might want to have the airflow meter system checked out. A friend had the same issue. |

thank u a million times ma broda, but i had the air flow meter (mass air flow sensor) changed twice even before the nossle |

how did u arrive at 30 liters for 140 miles.if u use the car within cities with ur ac on,thats about what u ll get if its a v6.it translates to 19 mpg.if its v4 then,  ?did the car just start cosuming fuel or thats how its been since u bought it? |

Again, This matter of Miles vs Km. 140miles translates to 225.26kms. thats the equivalent of Roughly Lagos to Ibadan to & Fro if U start from Ikeja area. At first glance, Thats not bad for 30lts. break it down further and it translates to 7.5km/lt. For a Honda with ur specs,This is Sinful! Check further. No Gree! |

Sorry man! One aspect that people usually neglect is the spark plug. It is very important you use the right set of spark plugs for you car. I will advice you to contact Honda for the proper specifications. Good luck |

Think this might solve your problem, you already gone too deep tearing things up, and burned so much cash, it might be as simply as o2 sensor, Bosch #13493 (F0260951). Read attached thread http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/showthread.php?t=169032 http://www.hondaaccordforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14533 Start with the fuse first(#6 under driver dash around your left knee siting in the car O2 heater) Pic shows that o2 sensor is also called Air flow
