And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea.
24 During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion.
25 He jammed[a] the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians.

When the children of Israel left Egypt according to the will of the Lord, the Egyptians pursued them in order to bring them back again to slavery. The Lord stood between His people and the Egyptians and discomfited them. He troubled them and prevented their onward pursuit of the children of Israel. The Egyptians from what they were experiencing confessed that the God of the Israelites was fighting for them. May this be the confession of your enemies daily as they pursue after you. May it also be an encouragement to you. Know it today and always that God will not abandon the righteous to the will of the enemy.
Whenever you come to a situation where you know you cannot do anything and it seems the enemy has the upper hand, just yield entirely to the Lord. Let Him fight your battle. Do not try to avenge yourself but leave vengeance in the hands of the Lord. He will surely fight for you while you hold your peace for nobody can battle with the Lord and be victorious!
Present the various areas of trouble in your life unto the Lord this day and relax in Him, and see the end result. He is the Man of war. You will always be victorious in Him. Praise the Lord! Remain blessed.
