Friends, my uncle is considering buying one of these two vehicles.
He is considering low maintenance costs and durability. kindly advise. Thanks.

A GL VS highlander they are not in the same category.

The GL 450 is a V8 powered vehicle and a 4 wheel drive full size SUV, 7 passenger seater

The highlander is a FWD or AWD 4cylinder or 6cylinder powered vehicle with ability to seat 7 passengers in some but not as comfortable or roomy as the GL.

You didn't state the year of both but the GL. Started in 2006/07

Since you put low maintenance cost, am thinking your uncle too will also like a picanto fuel economy to go with the vehicle.

Let him jejely buy the highlander, the GL is for deep pocket individuals

The gl450 is a very solid vehicle, but since you are considering low maintenance and economy go for Highlander.
