The protest is as a result of the following:

1. The unjust rustication of key members of the SUG
*Ogbidi Osemudiamen*:- SUG PRESIDENT
*Aidenagbon Justus*:- SUG SEC GEN
*Ehiabhi Goodnews*:- SUG PRO
*Innocent Momohdu Ehiz*:- SUG ASG
*Oseriamen Sankara*:- Students Town Crier.
For conducting a peaceful protest against the hike in fees and exorbitant increment of other charges by council.

2. The Violation of the Civil Rights of UNIBEN students under infringed in the UNIBEN Constitution and the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria.

3. The Poor states of the halls of residence despite the increment in fees and hostel accommodation.

Please tell Uniben students not to disturb Lagos benin express way. They should approach the court of law to resolve their grievances. Those SUG exco are not sincere. Tell them to open up what happened behind the scene
