There is a Heaven, there is a hell, and there is a choice
This life is a tiny little day, its day breaks at birth and its sun sets at death. Between birthday and deathday there are many choices to make.Some others make for us, but most we make by ourselves. Some choices have little consequences, others have far reaching consequences but one has eternal consequence, that is the one l wish to draw your attention to. Where do you want to retire to at life's sunset? Five minutes after you die where will you be? Heaven beckons and so does hell. Nobody goes to heaven by happenstance and none go to hell by accident. We are making our choices every day directly or indirectly by the lives we live. At death we only gravitate to where we belong. It was said of judas when he died. " that he went to his own place " I dare ask you, where is your own place, where will you gravitate to when you are dead and gone. Is heaven expecting you or hell? I know every body wish to get to heaven. But it takes more than wishfulness. If wishes were horses even beggars will ride. To get to heaven at death you must begin a rehearsal of the heavenly life here. You must have all your passed redeemed and your future secured. Your past is redeemed when your sins are all forgiven, your future is secured when you receive power to go and sin no more.
Now nobody can do these two vital things for you except Jesus(Acts 4:12, John 14:6). My friends your life's little day is swiftly ebbing out to its close. Some reading this write up may have 2018 as their terminal year yet they are sadly unprepared to meet their God. Have you ever pondered on the awful possibily of going to hell? Does that bother you? What are you doing about it? There is no way out of hell, there is only a way to avoid it. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, that so many hate to identify with is the keeper of the keys . You can hate him or love him but you can 't avoid him, you must meet him sooner or later, in life or in death. He will determine your eternal destiny long after the sun, moon,stars and all life is over. Pls make peace with God today through Jesus, he is the mediator between God and man. Apologize to God and let him forgive you on the merit of Christ's vicarious death.
